About REINSURE

On the insurer’s side of every placement

We work for insurance companies: we prepare their risks for the market, find the right reinsurers and negotiate the terms.

01

Who we are

An intermediary on the reinsurance market: we do not take risks onto our own balance sheet — we find the best home for them.

02

What we do

We structure placements for single large risks and for whole portfolios — from the first submission to agreed terms.

03

Where we operate

We serve cedents across Uzbekistan and bring their risks to regional and international markets.

04

How we create value

We turn complex local risks into submissions that reinsurers can assess and price — and into terms that cedents can rely on.

Two-way international access

REINSURE both receives facultative business from and places outward reinsurance with international broking partners — genuine two-way market access rather than a purely local operation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions insurers, reinsurers and brokers ask most often.

  • How do I access the platform?

The “Enter platform” button opens the sign-in page in a new tab. If your organisation is not connected yet, send a request through the form on this page and the team will help with onboarding.

  • How does facultative reinsurance differ from treaty reinsurance?

Facultative reinsurance covers one specific risk: it is offered to reinsurers and accepted separately, case by case. A treaty automatically covers a whole portfolio of risks on terms agreed in advance, usually for a year.

  • How does reinsurance help manage large risks?

Reinsurance lets an insurer transfer part of a large or complex risk to one or more reinsurers. This spreads the exposure, protects the insurer’s capital and makes it possible to accept limits that exceed its own retention.

  • Why use a broker if reinsurers can be approached directly?

A broker compares offers from several reinsurers, knows their appetite and negotiates for the insurer — who gets market-wide terms instead of a single quote.

  • Who is a cedent?

A cedent is an insurance company that passes (cedes) part of its risks and premium to a reinsurer in exchange for protection.

  • What does “capacity” mean in reinsurance?

Capacity is the maximum liability a reinsurer — or a whole market — is ready to accept: per risk, per event or across a portfolio.

  • What is retention?

Retention is the part of a risk the insurer keeps for its own account; everything above it can be reinsured.

  • How is data protected?

Access to the platform requires registration and sign-in, and risk information is exchanged within a structured workflow rather than through open channels. Data sent through this website travels over an encrypted connection and is processed only to review your request, in line with our Data Processing Policy.
